Hi,
Long time no see!!! Today I want to share a very nice lesson on Present Continuous with you. Do you like Mr Bean? I personally like him a lot and found this little cartoon particularly amusing. I wonder what you think of it. But I'm sure it will help you to learn Present Continuous Tense and enetrtain you at the same time.
Have a good time!!!

Hello,
A lot has happened in our school lately. First of all II F has handed in their wonderful projects about charity campaigns. I must say that in this respect you can always count on them: their projects are always impressive. I have made some photographs so that you can see and admire them yourselves:
And Wojtek prepared a wonderful "Cheer-up" board game. I'm sure anybody who will play it will be in very good mood.
And on Thursday we talked about Halloween traditions in English-speaking countries. We decided that our All Saints' Day is absolutely amazing so there is no need to replace it by English or American Halloween. However it is good to know more about their customs because they belong to English and American culture.
Patryk from IIE made some fantastic Halloween chocolate spider webs. It took us about 90 seconds to eat them all. Delicious!!!
But before Halloween the first classes practiced English tenses singing the famous "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles. They also drew an illustration for the song on the board. You can see the one produced by IG here:
And the choir:
For the engineers-to-be the class is extremely artistic!!!

Hi!
Last Saturday I saw the famous film "Gravity" starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. I strongly recommend this film to all of you and to encourage you to watch it I decided to show you this video clip with a fascinating experiment of wringing out soaking cloth in space. Don't you think it is amazing?

Ania from IIIF spent fantastic holidays in Britain last summer. Here is a postcard she wrote to me. I also like O2!!! What do you reckon?
9 August 2013
Hi, Katie.
I was in
London only for three days.
I saw many monuments, but I’m really crazy about the place in the picture. Do you know what is this? This observation deck is called the O2.Although the experience didn't last long (10 minutes when you're at the highest point taking in the magnificent views) it was definitely worth it. It’s one of those things you wouldn't want to do more than once, however, it's something to do while in London and the views are amazing. I also like shopping so I was in Regent Street mostly looking for bibelots. I came here only to visit, but I met many friendly people and I think that’s nice. Now I’m dying in Bulgaria. It’s so hot! But being on the beach is the best relax ever.

On 14 August
I’ll be in Cracow and we can meet.
See you soon,
